Last Saturday, my husband and I had just finished a vet appointment and decided to grab some lunch. After a quick search, we discovered Godfather Burger Lounge was right around the corner, so we decided to give it a try. We're so glad we did! The restaurant is small but cozy, with a welcoming atmosphere. Despite being busy, we were seated right away. Our server was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Since it was our first visit, we asked for his recommendation on whether to share a burger. He assured us that the burgers were huge, and he wasn't wrong! We opted to share one, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Even with that, we still ended up taking some fries home. We ordered the Soprano's Ultimate Burger, and it did not disappoint. The bacon was perfectly crispy, and the burger was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of pink in the center. The fries were a standout as well -- golden, crunchy, and delicious. I'm someone who usually requests my fries well-done, but at Godfather Burger Lounge, there was no need. They nailed it on their own. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were absolutely spot-on. We're already looking forward to our next visit to try more items from their menu. If you're in the area and craving a high-quality burger in a friendly, cozy setting, Godfather Burger Lounge is a must-visit spot
Solid burger place. Plenty of burger options, although most of them are just +/- 1 or 2 ingredients. I have been here a few times with my mother. She is from the midwest and doesn't like most food besides burgers and burritos (I'm sure some of you can relate). Finally found a place my mom can eat and it's good stuff. Parking is tough. Only street parking, but I have been able to find spots nearby.
Tried Godfather's Burger Lounge for the first time and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse. This is yet another restaurant that I've driven past countless times, and I've finally gotten around to trying it. The restaurant's on the smaller side, which means it has a more intimate atmosphere; the table I was sitting at was situated right against the dividing wall of booth seat. The service was surpassingly fast and the staff were friendly and prompt. Ordered the calamari to split, a mint lemonade, and the guacamole burger. The calamari was thin and crispy, and came with a zesty side of tater sauce. Definitely share this or you'll run the risk of filling up before your main. The mint lemonade was refreshing and had an abundant amount of mint. The Guacamole burger was a behemoth of a burger: the patty came in at half a pound, and was topped with a generous dollop of guac and fried onions. The creaminess of the guac helped balance out the smoky flavor of the burger. The fried onions are honestly overkill on account of how many fries they give you, but they do add a nice crunchy texture. If you come here, come hungry, because Godfather's Burger Lounge doesn't mess around when it comes to their burgers. They mean business. I'll definitely be coming back to redeem my free dessert, which is tragically only available Monday-Thursday.
Arrived around 6 PM on Friday and it wasn't too busy, we were able to be seated right away. We got the soprano's ultimate burger and the untouchables burger, both were quite big. I preferred the untouchables, but if you like mushrooms you would probably like the sopranos burger. We upgraded to the garlic truffle fries for one of the sides, but it mostly just tasted like garlic, I barely tasted truffle. The sauces and Oreo milkshake were all very good. The service was also great, they were attentive and accommodating. Overall, a solid place to go for a burger!
Driven past this place a few times and as a fan of all the mobster movies I kept saying we are going to try this place. We finally decided to go tonight and my excitement got cut down due to the parking. I'll have to admit, it quickly changed back to full excitement after I walked in. The place looks like you could bump into Pauly Walnuts at any time. Wise guys could definitely sit out front on the street at one of the tables they have set out. We ordered the fried calamari to start, this may have been the largest portions of calamari I've had in a while. The sauces they bring with it complement it very well. My girlfriend got the Godfather Burger, and it was the first time I seen her dive into anything like she did that. She was quiet most of the evening, so I know she was enjoying it. I got the Sopranos burger, and well forget about it. I thought it was amazing. we both got the garlic fries and again they did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly made us feel welcome. There was a gentleman there I don't know if he was the owner or the manager, but I heard a couple complement the food and I could tell he was honestly thankful for their comments. It's not a question if we will return, but when. The place is small and I can see when it gets busy having to wait for a table but I would definitely stick around to eat. The parking is an issue and it could be that there was more parking someplace I couldn't find. Do not let that stop you. Aye! Oooh ova here!
Always good, I love the burgers - all the variety- beef, chicken, fish, salmon and more. Several sides to choose from. The ambience is intimate, not quiet but definitely not rowdy. Food is prepared to a high standard. The staff makes sure you get something you'll love. I enjoy pictures of the actors/ directors-! they are displayed - large format B&W portraits- on a video - wall. I don't know all of them but it's fun to try a get their names. Perfect place for a small group- you'll be well taken care of ...
Went here since I was craving a burger. The food was presented in a decent time. The service was friendly. The water i initially received had a fly in it but was remedied with a new glass by our server. The ambiance is a movie-like interior and a red light ambiance. The fries were cooked well done which I like. The burger was as expected. Will probably only come here once in a while and try their dessert which looked yummy.
Parking here is a bit hard to find since it's all street parking. The interior is cozy, but a bit small and there aren't a ton of tables. We got seated immediately and there were still a few tables empty at 7:30 on a monday night. I ordered the directors cut mushroom burger and swapped cheddar for provolone. The burgers themselves are pretty big - i liked the godfather sauce and the sautéed mushrooms and crispy onion straws. I also upgraded the fries to garlicky truffle fries for 3 dollars - probably not worth it in my opinion since the truffle flavor isn't that strong. The fries themself were a good portion. You also get a free dessert for checking in through Yelp. they only have two options and imo the dessert wasn't worth it (even as a free thing). A few service mishaps (they forgot one thing we ordered and accidentally charged us at first for the free dessert) but nothing too egregious. Overall the burger was decent and satisfied my burger craving, but nothing amazing.
It has a decent amount of seating, but expect to wait 10-15mins. The burgers were juicy and cooked just right for medium rare for all three of them. The online rings were fresh and moist on the inside. The garlic truffle fries didn't have much truffle flavor and the garlic was raw, so it was quite strong. It looked like the garlic was just placed on top instead of tossing. So most of the fries didn't have much garlic flavor. The portion of the salad was a lot for a side. This has to be one of the best and most consistent burger restaurants in the peninsula. The price is reasonable and the portion is quite large. The service was also quick and pleasant. Street parking right outside and not going to be a problem.
